This is nothing new. Consider moving a web site to another server:
Many ignorant newbies have been bitten by DNS-caching, to the point
where they believe it is necessary to roll out a new server and keep
the old one running for a week. Even experienced people are forced
to propose this because they know they are surrounded by GUI-monkeys.
Providing a GUI doesn't make the protocol any less difficult.
Unfortunately anybody having access to such a click-and-drool interface
think they can manage DNS.
