It sounds like the Sender-ID re-use of v=spf1 records is going to be a

Do Sender-ID implementations use trusted-forwarder.org? If so, would
it be possible for trusted-forwarder.org to mitigate the problem by
publishing a record like:

        spf.trusted-forwarder.org. IN TXT "spf2.0/pra ?all"

I think what's more likely is that few who don't use MS Exchange are actually
going to use SID. Those that try it are going to find it isn't sufficiently
reliable and will quit.

In the mean time innocents will get burned.

Trusted-forwarder.org is not mentioned in ANY SPF/SIF specification and so
there is certainly no requirement for it. The only way to know if they use
it is to look at their code (Wayne may be able to infer something from his
DNS logs, I don't know).
