basic agenda should be done?

I think this was a good discussion and I think I even agree with most of
it. One item of significance that I didn't see discussed is the IETF
experiment.

Thanks for bringing it up. It wasn't discussed as none of us thought of
it.

There is supposed to be, as I understand it, a two year period of
experimentation followed by some kind of decision about the RFC going to
proposed standard, informational, or maybe even historic.

We ought to think about how we as a community want to respond to this.

In May it will have been two years since I published my SPF record. I
have been considering writing up an SPF lessons learned for the vanity
domain owner ID to be an input to the "Experiment", but I don't know how
the community as a whole wants to deal with the experiment.

The main problem is that the IESG has been most unclear on what kind of
data they would like to see. A "lessons learned" document would most
probably be in order, but given that the SPFv1 specification already
contains an unusually high amount of "lessons learned", I'm not sure where
our focus should be. Perhaps some large-scale statistics would be a good
start.

Wayne had asked the IESG last year about what data we should collect, but
got no useful response. We may have to ask them again.

How should we proceed and is this something that should be on the
project agenda [...]

I'll add it to the loose list of outstanding tasks for now. This really
needs more discussion before we know what needs to be done.

Also, if you take a look, I'd argue that "Updating the general FAQ" from
your to do list is now complete (I finished it yesterday while you were
meeting):

http://new.openspf.org/FAQ

I noticed several mails from you regarding that in the last few days but
haven't found the time to tend to it yet. I'll try to do that the coming
week.
