Huh, so they're violating RFC 4408, 2.5.2??  Or are they down-scoring
"none", too?

Yes what they are doing is inconsistent with RFC 4408.  This was discussed 
pretty extensively here when Arjen de Korte submitted the patch.  

If it's similar to submitting SPF results as a token to a Bayesian filter,
it is quite reasonable.  I found that SPF pass actually gets a 
negative score in a Bayes filter - apparently lots and lots of spammers
use SPF now (which is a good thing, actually).  However, the Bayes filter is
only applied as a last resort.
