Hi all
Thought you might be interested in this from Cricket Liu's
executive summary of "The 2007 DNS Survey, performed by The
Measurement Factory and commissioned by Infoblox" ...
| Other Interesting Findings: Significant Interest in Email Authentication
|
| Support for SPF was a highlight, more than doubling from about 5%
| of zones sampled to 12.6%. Clearly SPF has significant momentum.
|
| Implications: Thanks to the network effect, the more zones that use
| SPF, the greater the value in implementing SPF (e.g., the larger the
| percentage of email you can verify). SPF’s popularity has the
| chance to snowball. I believe SPF’s success also bodes well for
| the prospects of DKIM, which like SPF uses DNS to store email
| authentication information.
