RE: XHTML Output

 Thanks guys, the following (as per your suggestions) has done the trick. 

<xsl:output method="xml" omit-xml-declaration="yes" indent="yes"/>

Maybe Microsoft will introduce XHTML as a valid method in a future
release... Maybe not
