But i want the $level to be the actual level, 0, 1, 2, ...
Oh, that wasn't apparent in the code snippet to which I replied, or in
the start of this thread which said that the problem was to test for the
top of the tree:
Given the following xml structure, I want to create
an xsl if element that
tests the current node to see if it is a level 0
tree_node element.
