RE: XSL - Transforming 2 XSL stylesheets from 1 XML file

2005-05-05 03:40:36
There are many ways but it all depends on how you are performing the
transform - are you sepecifying the stylesheet using a
processing-instruction and relying on IE, are you using Java, the
command line etc... ?

I'm transforming on the server-side using an ASP script as follows:

<%
'Load XML
set xml = Server.CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM")
xml.async = false
xml.load(Server.MapPath("index1.xml"))

'Load XSL
set xsl = Server.CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM")
xsl.async = false
xsl.load(Server.MapPath("index1.xsl"))

'Transform file
Response.Write(xml.transformNode(xsl))
%>

The results are sent down the wire to the user as a plain HTML file.
