Re: Encoding problem

2005-08-25 02:14:26

This question is at best marginally connected to the subject of this
list, but

I have a xml with utf-8 encoding,

While reading the xml file I am providing the encoding
as windows-1252,

I don't know the API that you are using, but doesn't this mean you are
specifying an encoding that you know to be incorect? If the file is in
utf8 why specify a microsoft encoding?

David
