methods in C#?

No I can't get on with those languages at all, very odd, variables
changing their values all over the place...

But I agree there are good reasons for not using <any lannguage
construct, in any language> I only phrased it that way as you'd
phrased your original comment in a very wide ranging way "why use
templates", more or less.

So I hear what you are saying, and I agree in other contexts, but I
don't think it applies in the context I needed.

look this is no fun, reasonable even handed comments make for a very
boring discussion, can't we get back to unreasoned over
generalisations:-)
