RE: [xsl] XSL template "namespace" problem

2006-03-29 08:07:54
     <DIV ID='<xsl:value-of select="fname" />' STYLE="display:none">
         <xsl:value-of select="desc"/>
     </DIV>

This isn't XML and therefore it isn't XSLT - attributes can't contain
elements. I'm very surprised that any sofware is prepared to do anything
with this.

You seem to be a little confused about the relationship between XSLT and
Javascript (a common problem). XSLT does a transformation which produces an
HTML page. The HTML page may contain Javascript. But the Javascript isn't
executed until the transformation is finished. So if the Javascript doesn't
do what you expect, you should look at the HTML page that you've generated
and see what's wrong with it.
