Yes - that is the command line I am using. I'm not very concerned because Unix
is my ultimate target environment and I doubt that I will have similar problems
there. I'm writing it off as a Windows issue for now and driving on as I have a
work around. Thanks for your concern. This has been an education.

java -cp ... -jar .../saxon9.jar ...
