How would search engines find data?
Simply try "+16.1.1629 Besançon" (with apostrophes) in Google and
you'll get an xml file from documenta.rudolphina.org.

I don't see how this answers my question. The search string is present
in the XML document, so it is not a problem to find it.

My question is how to find a string that is generated by the
client-side XSLT processing.
