I recently got a chance to try out the KPOP support again, and my
guess is that KPOP should only be using Kerberos IV. Someone correct
me if I'm wrong, but I believe the most common server implementation
of KPOP is qpopper, and it doesn't support Kerberos 5. This might be
entirely unrelated to the stuff you're looking at, though.
