Hi folks,
i have really been searching for a long time because of this problem.
Sometimes fetchmail cannot get the mails from my mailbox on the provider
because one of them causes the following message in the logfile:
fetchmail: message delimiter found while scanning headers
Because of this fetchmail don't get the mail and leaves all Mails on the
provider's Mailbox.
My fetchmailrc looks like this:
# Configuration created Sat Mar 6 20:52:48 2004 by fetchmailconf
#set syslog
set postmaster "postmaster"
set nobouncemail
set no spambounce
set properties ""
set daemon 180
set logfile /var/log/fetchmail
poll mail.christiananton.de with proto POP3 timeout 30
user '<myaddy>' there with password 'youdontknowit' is 'chris' here
options flush fetchall no rewrite forcecr nokeep
I have played around with options like forcecr and stripcr but nothing good
happens.
The problem is only caused by spam-Mails, i'm shure they have corrupted header
lines but i want to download them anywhere because lokally i have
spamassassin running to kill them. And it's really not fine to have 100s of
mails on the provider's mailbox that are blocked there and not downloaded
because of one message with broken header lines.
Can anyone help me please?
P.D.: Sorry for my poor english, i'm german and my schooltime is far ago...
