If I add the smtpname keyword in my .fetchmailrc file, I cannot get the
mail, which is automatically resent to the address I specified!
The only way to make it work is to put the domain of my Internet
provider in
the local domains of my exim.conf! It is a bit too dangerous I think...
Which is exactly what I said in my first mail.
Either:
(1) you tell your machine that the domain is local to your machine, or
(2) you get fetchmail to rewrite the envelope to a domain which *is* local
to your machine
(2) is the normal, safe, and default behaviour.
If your virus scanner doesn't work in that configuration, then you need to
look at your virus scanner config (which is off-topic for here)

Sorry, I misread your first message, and focused on my error talking about
'Return-Path'...
Well, if there is no other solution with fetchmail (I understand now what is
happening - thank you!), I will try and use amavis with procmail... this
seems to be the only solution (if possible)
