erm.. instead of
"if you can't figure it out, bounce"
why not
"if you can't figure it out, use base64"
Since base64 is `always' (anyone proved that yet?) a safe encoding
then nothing is lost by using it. (Other than bandwidth ..) But
this is too simple a suggestion so someone must've already thought
of this and rejected it ...
