The Mac character set is registered in RFC-CHAR. I hope you (nor Apple)
do not mind that.

Using mnemonic format you can get your special 8-bit characters
represented anyhow, as 2-character sequences preceeded wit an
intro character. So the Apple logo can be transmitted.
