     My objection to recursive embeddings was an objection to recursive
encoding; that is, encoding contents of type MESSAGE or MULTIPART instead of
leap contents.  The problem was that a program could not determine the message
structure without a decoding step otherwise.

     I have no particular objection to encapsulation of messages in bounce
messages, as long as the encapsulation does not use an encoding.
