Re: language tags1993-03-07 22:58:10I'm starting to think that the two-letter ISO 639 codes might be better than the UDC numbers after all, if only because the ISO 639 codes are already used in computer systems, for example in the LANG environment variable on many UNIX systems. However, my copy of ISO 639 (dated 1967) only lists 37 languages, and our library's ISO Catalogue (which is itself a few years old) lists the 1967 document as being the latest list of language symbols. Are these sufficient? Keith
