Sending C-T-E BINARY in SMTP or ESMTP with 8BITMIME is about as safe
as sending C-T-E 8bit in (unextended) SMTP: Sometimes it works, sometimes
it doesn't, and the fact that it sometimes works is endlessly confusing.
Thank you for giving the real world example that 1-255 8bit specification
induces 1-255 binary implementations.
I DID NOT SAY THAT.
Repeat after me:
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
I said that 8BITMIME support does not mean BINARY support.
Repeat until nauseated.
