It's nice, I tested it with a legacy browser (no CSS) and Lynx.
Very visible with Lynx, for LWSP I get something like this:
Canonical LWSP = *( WSP / _(_ CRLF WSP ) _)_
It's not LWSP = *( WSP / _(_ CRLF WSP _)_ )
Similar x = a / b c (d e) [f g] / ( h i) j k
Canonical x = a / _(_ b c (d e) [f g] _)_ / ( _(_ h i) j k _)_
But in both cases and your example a = b / c d / e it's clear
