Tilting at windmills is time-honored profession, though. As is
attacking straw men.
As I've said several times before here, people are jumping on the
bandstand because they really want to be the ones who solve the spam
problem.
Saying it repeatedly doesn't make it true, unless you desire
everyone to believe you, solely because you're An Authority.
It's like someone trying to solve money laundering because they've had
some money and managed some bank accounts and did their taxes a few
times.
It's like someone trying to delve into social motivations, because
they've talked to people, and are an expert in computer networking.
