It wasn't the web interface that put me off, it was the fact that it
would have meant registering for yet another username/password
combination, which I would then have to record in my database, look up
again when going back to edit, and so on.
Feel free to ask me to reuse your favorite low-security ID. You can
change the password to your fave low-security password, too.
OpenID is an idea whose time came quite a long while ago.
I'm not opposed to it. Is there a plugin for mediawiki?
