I plan to do a survey of popular implementations. If none do, that section can
be dropped. But someone suggested including it in the outline which leads me
to believe that some implementation does.
As a FYI, some (perhaps only historical now) implementations behave
badly with post-DATA rejects. An old version of Exchange, in
particular, treated even a post-data 5xx as "retry as quickly as possible".
But I've not seen one in a while.
