First problem:
I was talking from the coding point of view, rather than protocol
definition :-) Your first point is excellent (though it's an attack which
can already be performed using MX records). I think we are reaching
agreement that only one record should be published for each SMTP client
host name. We still need to specify what an SMTP server should do if it
sees more than one.
