What kinds of failures have you been seeing? Any thoughts on making
relaxed better?
The failures we've been seeing are all related to the naked CR problem.
If we
made relaxed also canonicalize CR or LF as CRLF, it would certainly help,
and not have the uncertainty of whether forcing the actual body to be 2822
compliant will be harmful.
Other than that, it seems to be mainly mailing list related which I
doubt could
ever be "fixed". The only other thing I've seen experimenting around is that
mailers will force a line break. I'm fairly certain that this is much more
a theoretical issue than a real one though.

down the line, be sure it's perfectly 2822 conformant and use a relaxed

So we've been running relaxed body canonicalization on one of our
production servers, and I can't say that I've seen any evidence that
it is any better than simple.
