I view the Acknowledgements section as an indication of the breadth of
contribution, not the depth of agreement. You have most certainly
contributed.
I certainly agree with this, and I'd like to see those who spent a
good deal of their time, regardless of whether the result comes out
the way they'd have preferred, to get credit for their commitment to
the work.
