My sense of the ietf-mailsig mailing list record is that
there is a lack of
interest in pursuing work on specifying reputation
mechanisms, in this group, at
this time.
Yet again you mis-represent my position.
I do not propose developing reputation systems. I propose defining the
interface to existing reputation systems.
Obviously, to discuss the merits of particular reputation
mechanisms would be
diving into the content of that topic.
No discussion of the merits is required. Merely acknowledgement that the
mechanisms exist and that they have already achieved a substantial
degree of industry consensus.
