IPR disclosures?

The pre-IETF participants in DKIM work have been notified of IETF
requirements. (For the most part, they already knew about them.)
They have been asked to file what needs to be filed.

As you note, things have been pretty busy, getting the
specification finished by the I-D deadline.

Not that it is in any way official or complete -- quite the
opposite -- today I set up a page for any IPR materials folks
wish to make available, at: <http://mipassoc/mass/ipr>. I'll add
more materials as they are provided. I expect the listings to be
a superset of what is formally filed with the IETF.

The IETF IPR disclosure pages for the DKIM Internet-Drafts at [1]
and [2] don't list any disclosures two weeks later (evening of July
31 Paris time); the only content at the mpiassoc.org page that Dave
points to above is a sendmail Open Source license.

That may or may not be good news.

I'm, in particular, wondering what assumptions the BOF should make
about

1. claims regarding the applicability of the patents and patent
   applications listed at [3] to DKIM;

2. the extent to which the RF commitment by Yahoo concerning the
2004 domainkeys I-D [4] applies to possible claims against
   implementations of DKIM.
