I think the problem here is if you put information about your mail
capabilities in your certificate, then when your mail capabilities
change, your certificate changes.
Sure, but these don't change that often. IMHO it's a small price to pay for
guaranteed international inter operability that would result from a
standard method for publishing crypto capabilities.
