I suspect we're going to need some minimum value of n.
On the other hand, one bit would be sufficient to prevent data
mining. This may actually have some general use in Usenet, for
example. Mind you, I'm just playing the devil's advocate here or
trying to color outside the lines (and especially changing the
subject ;-).
Since you're playing devil's advocate...would one bit really be
sufficient for data mining? Or does it just mean that the data miners
first have to break the one-bit encryption?
