Yes, and:
We have a lot of people jumping on a bandwagon to define something new
without asking WHO it will benefit. Possible inadvertent beneficiaries
include spammers and other abusers/attackers, so I think it's incumbent
on those advancing such proposals to not only conduct a full analysis
of how such technology will be attacked, but also to show that even in
the presence of such inevitable attacks that the approach is still a win
over the current state of affairs.
