What fraction of the world's email traffic (measured by message count)
traverses at least one of MAGY? What fraction does that become if we
add so-called "social networks" and a dozen other large email providers?

exact data is somewhat proprietary, but approximations are easy to find
with these new fangled search engine devices... but to save you the
trouble of working out some appropriate search terms:

        https://www.senderbase.org/static/email/#tab=2

However, this table is a bit odd in that Yahoo appears twice (and
Microsoft appears three times, but for a more obvious reason)

I think you might reasonably assume that the presence of a Vietnamese
ISP and the University of Minnesota are indicative of spamming. I expect
that examining headers :-) will reveal a great deal about what is
happening at the latter institution (the former source is an ongoing
issue that I understand to be bots and a semi-functional abuse@ system)
