I believe that's the sort of issue that motivated the CTE choices for
DKIM, however unfortunate.
And that doesn't include what happens downstream with POP/IMAP clients
as well, in our testing many of them didn't handle binary attachments
well either.
Just amazing how much a few decades of legacy baggage can weigh, isn't
it...?
