This comment - along with so many others in this vein - lacks an
appreciation of the IETF mentality. "We do not believe in kings,
presidents or voting. We believe in rough consensus and running
code."
I'd say that there is rough consensus that the SPAM/virus damage
should stop. But *where* is the running code? [ Please submit at
least two independent implementations... oops - slipped into bureaucrat
mode there.... :-) ]
Since I don't run an MS MUA, I'm not sure if James Salsman's
approach counts as running code or not... :-)
