Fred:

If members of ISOC can chime in here, and if needed poke fred in the
ribs...

this ISOC member believes ISOC should be involved and directly lobby
Congress on the issue of spam and to add clue to the congress critters
staff as appropiate.

Richard, you are always up on the hill... now do the right thing next time
you go up there.

And though Vint , I certainly understand ISOC's general reluctance to get
directly involved in a specific national legislative issue ..this is a
large enough public policy problem for Mike Nelson to be involved in with,
of course, the support of the ISOC Board.

The question is then directed to our distinguished Chair of the Borad of
Trustees of ISOC ... Fred ..is this a issue ISOC should be directly
involved in and directly lobby Congress on...?

And Fred let me say .. since I live in the National Capital Region I'd be
delighted to help if additional hands were needed.

I see from http://www.isoc.org/isoc/general/officers/ that they have a VP
