Swift, Pandion, and Psi are all solid as far as I've experienced, on
Windows 7.
Not sure how I could have forgotten Swift, which I use all the time. :)
The XSF maintains a list at http://xmpp.org/xmpp-software/clients/ that
people may find useful.
tl;dr
(Although it's challenging to come up with a short but official list of
recommended clients at xmpp.org, for political and other reasons.)
