IMHO, you should keep it.
If the reference is Informative, then RFC editor will not delay
publication of your document, unless you ask.
I got several documents published with informative references to
unpublished documents.
I agree with you. And i guess Murray's Internet-Draft and Dave's
Internet-Draft will be published as official RFCs (Standards Track) at
the same time. I recall vividly IETF announcement for RFC4871 and RFC4870 ;;
