Get people to put the right content-types on their data :) Humor aside,
it is the best way. You could modify the default filters of MHonArc to
check if the filename given for the data (if specified) matched the
content-type. This could be a problem because you would have to rely
on the extension, and who is to say that the content-type is not
correct, and the filename is just a name.

well, i did look into the header and here it contains the same

as the netscape mail provided.
i have one last question. when i attach a file (pdf or frm or anything)
how
can i set its content-type ? i use netscape for instance, all i think i
can
do is attach using the menu pick. is there a way to instruct the mail
program
about the desired content-type of an attachment? if yes then how?
