Exactly! The only reason MH needs a patch to run on Linux is because
it mucks about inside the FILE structures, something I consider a
MAJOR kludge.
i'd love for mh to use sfio, or something, instead of using <stdio.h>
functions. then someone could 'fix' m_getfld.c -- but only if they
don't lose it's speed.
this would be a big but cool change for mh.
oh, and if the less in the distribution _isn't_ removed, it should
at least be upgraded. it's only 113 revisions behind :)
