I run /usr/bin/reset (part of ncurses) and
/bin/stty tostop hup crt -decctlq erase "^H" susp "^Z" kill ^U intr ^C
When myself, links, or a gremlin glitches my terminal window. I have
a shell aliases which does both. It used to happen more often in the
past.
