For a *real* horrorshow, UREP on a Gould UTX/32 box (for starters, the
bisync card was busticated, and didn't char-stuff a DLE DLE on transmit,
meaning that if you tried to send data that had a real DLE in it, the
remote end would happily munch the character following the DLE. It only
got worse from there)
You have just made it plain that I have not had enough to drink in the last
20 years. As I know of the horrors of which you speak, I obviously have not
killed off enough brain cells.
