And this is exactly the effect this law is supposed to have. In case you havn't seen it, there was an excelent series of articles in "Communications of the ACM" a few months back which had alot of harsh words to sling at the NSA for blocking the use of encryption both in the US and abroad. This is correct. However, I was trying to contrast the PKP/RSA issue. I do agree with you on this issue. Craig
