Great proposal! Just as some of us will have multiple certificates for
multiple roles, we will have separate certificates for informal and legal
purposes. The distinction is similar to that between a wet signature
saying just "Bob" and one saying "Robert R. Jueneman". If there's no
legal signature, it's not assumed to be legally binding. A PCA and its
CAs then need not verify Bob's informal identity, which allows anonymity.
This seems ideal. If it's in the standard, it will happen. If not, it may
not.
