After getting some good responses from the kind people of the list, One common
thread was to upgrade to a later version of procmail which is/was more
forgiving ...
I did just that to:
procmail-3.10
That's not enough. Upgrade to v3.11pre4 to get rid of the original
problem (which you no longer have).
procmail: Error while writing to "formail +1 -d -s cat>>Firewalls"
'cat' is in the patch and is executable by all ....
In the PATH defined in procmail?
Are you perhaps using a csh-alike as your login shell? And do you have
noclobber set in your .cshrc? And Firewalls not exist, or something?
