Indeed, it's off topic, but I wanted to add one more comment on pine.

Admittedly, it is slow, but it's features beat the hell out of elm. We 
used to have a special multimedia-enhanced version of elm running on 
HP-mpower: about as slow as pine.

But, recently, I compiled pine3.95 on my Linux box at home, and that 
version is a lot faster.
