Someone wrote, and suggested using perl to append the http://www. to my
list of sites.  Which seemed kind of resource unfreindly, but might have
worked.

How will this work?

/dev/null

I'm assuming this will work in a fashion similar fgrep looking for the
http://www.some.domain in a file.
