What man page is that? I've got a man page from 1994 and sed 2.05, with
nary a mention of a -g. (FYI, I couldn't find a -g for the sed's on
several other platforms I checked, either.)

 a) GNU sed 2.05 does not come with a man page

 b) GNU sed takes the options printed with 'sed -h', no more and no less.
    There is no -g.
