Hi there,
I've just started using procmail v3.11pre7 to sort my incoming mail out and
am experiencing some problems. Just for the record, I use Debian 2.0
(Linux 2.0.34), fetchmail r4.3.9, smail 3.2.0.101, and mutt 0.93i
I have created a .forward file in my user directory, /home/homega, with just
the line:
"|exec /usr/bin/procmail"
as procmail documentation suggested. And the conditions I added to
/home/homega/.procmailrc are as follows:
----- start .procmailrc -----
# Please check if all the paths in PATH are reachable, remove the ones that
# are not.
PATH=$HOME/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/bin:.
MAILDIR=home/homega/Mail
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/correo
LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/procmail.log
LOCKFILE=$HOME/.lockmail

# Anything that has not been delivered by now will go to $DEFAULT
# using LOCKFILE=$DEFAULT$LOCKEXT
----- end .procmailrc -----
As you may see, I changed the path MAILDIR=$HOME to MAILDIR=home/homega/Mail.
Now, whenever I check my mail, I find procmail has created new mboxes in
/home/homega, instead of /home/homega/Mail (where I also have my default
mbox).
Also, the mail seems to be processed at a very low pace when I run mutt, it
takes time to get to their designated folders, and some do it once at a
time.
Now, could you help me with this, please? And, is the syntax correct or am
I missing anything?
Thanks in advance.
